skool ("we", "the site") is a map of school attendance zones with live home-listing data. This page explains what data we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

Filter preferences.Your bed/bath/year-built filter selections are stored in your browser's local storage and, when shared via a link, in the URL. This never leaves your device except as part of a URL you choose to share.
Zone alert signups. If you enter your email to get notified about new listings in a zone, we store your email address and the zone you subscribed to.
Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general interactions). This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name or contact details unless you separately give them to us.
Advertising. We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info.

We don't sell your personal data. We don't require an account to browse zones or listings — signing up for alerts is optional.

Listing data is fetched live from Redfin's public site for display purposes only. Site hosting and storage are provided by Vercel.
